Shane Krugler, Esq.
More than Just an Attorney
Shane isn’t just an attorney; he’s a family man and Navy Veteran who deeply understands the challenges and emotions involved in protecting your loved ones’ well-being. Facing personal difficulties while navigating the healthcare system for a family member, he witnessed firsthand the confusion and stress families face while dealing with government benefits like Medicare, Medicaid, and the Veterans Administration. Driven by a desire to help others avoid similar experiences, Shane made a meaningful career shift. Leaving his corporate finance ethics and compliance role, he founded a law practice dedicated to compassion and clarity. His mission is to guide families through the often-complex world of estate planning and elder law. Shane has a Juris Doctorate Law degree from Northern Kentucky University and a Bachelor of Business degree from Indiana University. Shane is passionate about helping families plan for the future, ensuring they can live their lives to the fullest and leave a lasting legacy for future generations. Beyond his professional commitment, he cherishes spending time with his wife, Megan, and their children, creating lasting memories while exploring the world together.

Megan Krugler is the dedicated senior paralegal at Krugler Law. With over two decades of experience since graduating from Ball State University in 1999, Megan brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the firm. Megan and her husband, Shane Krugler, run a successful law business together. High school sweethearts, Megan and Shane are proud parents to three children, balancing their family and professional lives with grace and commitment. Megan’s dedication to her work and her family makes her an invaluable asset to Krugler Law and a trusted advocate for our clients.
Allison LaCalameto, MSW, LSW

Community Liaison & Medicaid Specialist

With over 10 years of experience as a social worker specializing in healthcare and gerontology, Allison possesses a deep understanding of the unique needs of seniors and their families. Her extensive knowledge of community and long-term care resources empowers her to navigate the complexities of elder care with compassion and expertise.

Beyond her clinical work, Allison actively engages with the community by organizing informative events, presentations and educational opportunities. She also serves as a dedicated resource for clients, providing them with valuable guidance and support on social services and navigating the aging process.
Liz Vinel

Legal Office Administrator

Liz, a Cincinnati West Side native, recently graduated from Ohio University with a degree in Political Science Pre-Law. Her experience at the Athens County Public Defender’s Office gave her a strong foundation in legal processes, client service, and administrative support. Combined with her years of customer service expertise, Liz is passionate about ensuring every client interaction is seamless and positive.

Hilary Raible, Probate Paralegal

Hilary brings over 20 years of experience assisting clients in Hamilton and surrounding counties with probate matters. She’s known for guiding families through what can be an overwhelming process with calm, compassion, and clarity.
